4 alternative museums in New York City

Do you have that one place that you travelled to and fell in love with? A place that sweeps you off your feet that you keep returning to again and again?

For me, that place is New York City. It’s difficult to believe that I once tried to fit the city into one night five years ago thinking I would never get the opportunity again.

Anxiety and adrenaline: My Euros trip to France

Will Grigg’s on fire; your defence is terrified.

Green and white army. Green and white army.

Everywhere we go…

If you haven’t heard these chants (especially the first one) then you have definitely been off the grid recently.  The words of these songs and others amounted to 75% of my speech for the time I was in France at the Euros.

Follow your feet to Cardiff

Cardiff is a new city to me; Wales is a new country to me. I am not sure how I managed to make it to 26 years without a visit to one of the countries closest to me, especially as I have been to both Scotland and England numerous times.

I visited Cardiff to attend Traverse travel blogging conference.  Included in the ticket price were ‘Sunday Experiences’ ranging from white water rafting to a day in the mountains.

I knew my time was tight (thanks to irregular flight services to Ireland) and I wanted to fit in a visit to Cardiff Castle, so I chose ‘Cardiff on Foot’; a walking tour around the city centre.

Eating London: 7 places to eat cake

Today I have the amazing Lucy from Wanderluce talking about cake in London.

When I wake up in the morning, my first thought is of food. It’s the same when I go to bed at night and most of the day too. To be brutally honest, thoughts of food punctuate most of my day, and my mind will fight any other thought vying for my attention. Food comes first.
