Welcome to another week in the world of Sarah.
Last week was all about food (of course), fashion (?!), films (as always) and fitness (#loveparkrun). As well as that there was a selfie and some cupping…
Last week it was National Museum Selfie Day. Of course, I had to pop into the Ulster Museum on my way home from the office to snap a pic with the man who created the selfie (fun fact: he made 80 self-portraits in his lifetime).
Some school children followed my lead and joined in on selfie time as well.
This week also brought the launch of the 21st West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK. There are some great trends for the upcoming season. I am particularly interested in ‘death by denim’. I want a pinafore.
I took one photograph of the event. It was of Bex in her prime photography position. It paid off and she got some fab footage.
This week brought a first for me; I went coffee cupping with Ben in The Guillemot, Bangor.
What is coffee cupping, I hear you say…
I think I’ll have to write a post to explain. I had a great night learning about coffee and it turns out I like a coffee that is full bodied.
It was wonderful to be invited to brunch at The Errigle and Laura, Jools, Shannon and I had a great morning nattering over a lot fry (well, I was the only person to have a fry).
I made it to the cinema this week to see The Revenant. All I can say is go and see it. The direction is mind blowing. I found myself saying “that was one shot” numerous times throughout the film.
As for Leo, he gave a superb performance, especially for having very little dialogue. So basically, go and see it.
Running on the dreadmill must be doing some good for me. I completed Ormeau parkrun in 25:25 this week; my quickest time this year, but still around a minute away from where I want to be.
Sadly, I’ve got a one-week running ban as of now so there will be no parkrun this week, but there will be other very exciting news related to the ban. Yay!
