Another week has passed. This one seemed to fly (well, don’t they all?). I spent a lot of time working, but I took plenty of time out to relax.
I spent my time between Belfast and Fermanagh; it was lovely to watch the snow fall on the country (while I sat in front of the fire).
This week, I took part in #SaveWithLynas – it is an outlet store in east Belfast where you can purchase good in bulk. Think of it as a cash and carry that anyone can shop in.
I will be writing about soon so look out for that post!
On Saturday, I went to the Lyric Theatre to see ‘Christmas Eve Could Kill You’. Slightly offseason, but it didn’t matter. It was fast moving, hilarious but for all the laughs there were more serious underlying messages. Messages I don’t think most of the audience picked up on.
Before the theatre, Sarah and I went to Birdcage for some nibbles. All I will say is their ‘starter’ nachos are a full sized meal.
Mum and I went to the cinema to see Joy. Obviously, we both almost fell off our chairs when Bradley Cooper showed up (*swoon*). As always, Jennifer Lawrence brought her A-game; well worthy of her Oscar nomination.
Go and see it; you’ll be rooting for Jen (i mean Joy) all the way!
There is good and bad news on the running front this week.
The good news is that I joined a gym. The middling news is that I may or may not have fallen off the treadmill on my first run.
The horrific news is that the weather stopped parkrun. There’s no time to report this week; I’m hoping it will be a good one next week.
