Causeway Coastal Route

Some of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful sights are along the Causeway Coastal Route. The route spans from Belfast along the north coast of Northern Ireland. Along the way, you pass small villages such as Glenarm and Ballygally, swoop up and down hilly roads and on some days you may even see some dolphins or seals.

Silent Testimony

When attending the talk for Space Week by astronaut Greg H Johnson, it was the perfect opportunity to visit the widely praised exhibition, Silent Testimony. All exhibits are portraits of those affected by Northern Ireland’s ‘Troubles’. Artist Colin Davidson is one of Northern Ireland’s best-known artists. His celebrity portraits are very popular and he is even credited for teaching Brad Pitt how to paint.

The spookiest places in Northern Ireland

I am not a fan of Hallowe’en – the most excited I get is when I go to the Monster Mash in Titanic Quarter, Belfast for the fireworks. Saying that, it is always fun to get a little creeped out. When browsing the internet earlier, I came across an infographic by Blue Chip Holidays listing the most ‘spooktacular’  places to visit in the UK. I was disappointed to see that Northern Ireland had been bypassed completely. This got me thinking, and I came up with a list of spooky places in my home country.
