Unpacking: 10 – 16 January 2016

I spent my time between Belfast and Fermanagh; it was lovely to watch the snow fall on the country (while I sat in front of the fire).

5 reasons why you should visit the Ulster Museum RIGHT NOW

The Ulster Museum consistently tops lists of things to do in Belfast, especially those based on free activities. The museum is within ten minutes walk from my home, so I regularly visit.

Recent visits include seeing the Silent Testimony exhibition as well as attending a talk from an astronaut.

Unpacking: 3 – 9 January 2016

What a busy week. Workwise I mean. I feel I did not get enough time to wind down but isn’t that how it goes after a fortnight off?

I began the week in Fermanagh before I made my way back to Belfast. I had my first office day on Wednesday and I haven’t stopped since; it feels great to get back in the swing of things.

5 travel bloggers to follow in 2016

Travel bloggers are the best. They inspire wanderlust, show you the places the guidebooks do not and they tell you how not to get scammed.

I predominately used travel blogs to help me with my travels in south-east Asia and Australia (I also had the Lonely Planet guide) and it is something I will do before any future trip.
